Jennifer Morton is an assistant professor of philosophy at the City College of New York—CUNY where her research focuses on moral and political philosophy and philosophy of education. Previously she was Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Faculty Fellow at Princeton University, Center for Human Values. She also serves as Senior Faculty Fellow, Center for Ethics and Education, University of Wisconsin, Madison. Morton has published articles in the Journal of Political Philosophy, Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Educational Theory, among others. She has been awarded a Spencer Foundation grant for her work in Philosophy of Education. She is currently working on a book about the ethical conflicts faced by those on the path of upward mobility. Morton earned her A.B. in Philosophy from Princeton University, and her Ph.D. in Philosophy from Stanford University.
