Molly Broad

Molly Corbett Broad is president of the American Council on Education (ACE), a position she assumed in 2008. She is president emerita of the University of North Carolina System, where she served from 1997 to 2006. Prior to joining the University of North Carolina, Molly held senior administrative positions in the California State University system, including executive vice chancellor and chief operating officer from 1993 to 1997. Earlier in her career, Molly was executive director and chief executive officer of the Arizona Board of Regents, and prior to that she worked at Syracuse University in a number of roles, including director of institutional research and vice president for government and corporate relations. Molly is vice president of the International Association of University Presidents, serves on the board of the Forum for the Future of Higher Education, has served as a consultant to the Education Ministry of Singapore, and is on the faculty of the Salzburg Seminar. Molly earned her masters degree in economics at Ohio State University.
